I am your charity steward. I see myself as a tool for you to use to co-ordinate the funds for charity from our Lodge. Justinian Lodge has a long history of charity and as your charity steward I am asking for support for a number of worthwhile charities both military and civilian.
The Queensman Lodge following on from the Justinian Lodge, demonstrates a very high standard in respect of charity, which is only achieved in respect of the generosity of its members.
Charities that the lodge have donated to include some of the following: Air Ambulance, Queens Regiment Museum Fund, Gurkha Welfare Trust, Combat Stress, My Daddy a Soldier, British Limbless Ex-Services Association and others.
I have identified an Army Cadet Unit based in Frimley Green that is the only cadet unit which is still wearing the Queen’s Regiment cap badge. We have commenced to engage with them to determine how we might as a Lodge offer them financial assistance in the future.
If you know of a charity that you feel is worthy of assistance then discuss it with the Lodge Charity Steward for future consideration.
The Charity Steward of The Queensmans Lodge is: W.Bro David L. Cannell
